Dr Antonini received her M.D. from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” Magna Cum Laude, with Top Honors in all examinations. She also has a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology. Her medical training experience is completed by two years in oncology surgery. Dr Antonini has been involved in clinical research within the Pharma environment for over 25 years, in all Phases of drug development. During her long experience, Dr Antonini has covered different roles, from medical affairs to clinical research operations, from drug safety to study feasibility, all based upon a strong medical and scientific background. She has played a key role in many successful programs of drug development, capitalizing on her on-the-job experience in the design, feasibility, implementation and interpretation of clinical trials. Among Dr Antonini’ accomplishments are a substantial contribution to the clinical development of a number of products in the cardiovascular, internal medicine, metabolism, respiratory and neuroscience areas. Over the past 4 years she has been involved in vaccines’ clinical development. She authored several peer reviewed articles on studies conducted in various therapeutic area and focused on clinical trial methodology, feasibility and execution.

Graduated with honors in 1992 in Business and Economics at the University LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. She is a Certified Chartered Accountant registered at “Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti” in Rome since 1998, with over 20 years of professional experience dealing with Companies, non-commercial bodies and privates.
